Where am I? I’m trying to finish up something called Shadow Mapping, which is a technique used to create dynamic (i.e. realtime) shadows. It has its problems though. Things called ‘artifacts’ appear and artifacts make the whole thing look bad. But as with just about any solution in programming, that solution causes its own problems and it all basically comes down to a balancing act between how much of the original problem exists versus how many problems the solution is causing.
Anyway, after I implement these shadows hopefully the Collision Detection (which is the next step) will be easier to be debug.
