For those who don’t know, this game I’m making is called ‘Last Step’, and is a time travelling puzzle game. It’s vaguely like Portal in that you’re in a 3d world using some crazy experimental space-time bendy thingy – but that’s pretty much where the comparison stops.
You can’t time travel, because you’d be fried – however a specially designed robot can. It’s essentially the same idea that NASA uses when exploring other worlds: a human won’t survive so send a robot. This special robot needs a larger time machine for a bigger kick though time as its size limits its time travel capacity to just a few minutes. Fortunately, a clever Professor has made both and now he only needs someone to drive it from the command station he’s set up. That’s where you come in…
